Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements to enrol. However, candidates must be 19+ years of age and undertake a suitability assessment.
This qualification is aimed at those that have already completed a level 6 NVQ diploma in OHS or strategic management or equivalent.
In addition to the educational requirements candidates must be in a suitable senior management role with strategic responsibilities.

You will be assigned an assessor who will work with you and provide guidance to assist in completing this qualification.
Course Assessment
The course is competence based and learners will need to demonstrate that they meet the course criteria by way of submitting corroborated evidence. Learners’ competency will be assessed by SHEilds NVQ assessors. The assessment is based on evidence uploaded, statements provided and professional discussions.
There are various types of evidence that learners can submit, including:
Workbooks, guidance documents and templates needed to complete this NVQ level 7 course will be provided to learners via the Learning Assistant online platform, where completed works and supporting evidence will be uploaded.
When your assessor is satisfied that your evidence meets the required criteria, they notify SHEilds internal verifier who will double check the submission. If the secondary check (internally verified) is approved the portfolio is then sent externally to the awarding body (ProQual) for final approval (externally verified).
Once your work has been through the above assessment process and deemed suitable, you will receive a certificate as proof you have successfully completed the qualification. The awarding body will send your certificate to SHEilds who will contact you to arrange delivery to your chosen address.
